I'd like to start a new weekly post titled "In the kitchen Thursdays".
This Thursday the recipe I'm featuring is a great alternative to your typical chicken dinner, and it's fairly healthy too! If you feel like you need to change things up a bit in the kitchen, try these Tandoori-style chicken burgers.
This recipe came from Martha Stewart, but I tweaked it a bit and added my own flair.
I did without the cucumbers and substituted spinach, and I added garlic and a bit of lemon juice to the cumin yogurt sauce (I HIGHLY recommend this). I also added a bit of feta cheese, and just a tad of Sriracha chili sauce (I love some spice!) to my pita.
Delicious dinner! It was a nice change of pace and quite a hit with the hubs.
