A family of 3

Words cannot explain how excited we are to be starting our own little family!

I am so ecstatic to finally be able to share this news with everyone! All I have wanted to blog about these past couple of months was being pregnant, and now I finally can.

When it comes the important things in my life, I have always had somewhat of a gut instinct. I don't know if "gut instinct" is even the right word. Basically just knowing that this is the path I'm supposed to take, without a doubt. Perhaps it's God's plan just falling into place.

When my husband and I first started dating, I just knew this was the man I was going to marry. I knew he was my other half, and that we were meant to spend the rest of our lives together.

This past spring I just knew I was ready to take the next step in our lives and start a family. Something inside of me told me that now was the time.
I say that "I just knew I was ready" instead of "we" because my husband had already been ready, he was just waiting for my go ahead.
As soon as I said "lets have baby" I was pregnant!

Being pregnant has been the most incredible feeling in the world. Having a life that the two of you have created growing inside of you is just unexplainable.

I'm not going to to lie and say it's all been roses and rainbows, because it hasn't. Being pregnant is hard, but for now I will save that for another post. This week I've started feeling much better, and I think that the pesky "morning" sickness is finally gone.  *Knock on wood*

Pregnancy is starting to get fun!

We both feel so incredibly blessed, and can't wait for this next chapter in our lives.

I've already been asked about bump pictures, and will start featuring regular "Bumpdates" very soon, I promise :)

For now, here's some (mostly unflattering) outtakes from our announcement shoot.

"Don't you have your stupid camera set-up yet?!?"

"I know it's like 100 degrees out, and that you didn't want to take these pictures in the first place, but just pretend that you like me right now!"

"KISS ME DAMMIT! I don't care if all of my sticky lipgloss gets all over you!"

"The faster we get our acts together and take some good pictures, the faster we can get home."
