Size of Baby:

Total Weight Gain:
About 15 pounds

Maternity Clothes:
He is still moving mostly in the morning and at night, but he still isn't strong enough for my husband to feel.
No complaints
What I miss:
Wine. Always wine.
Food Cravings:
Halloween candy is killing me.
Food Aversions:
Occasional headaches.
What I'm Looking Forward To:
Baby Jacob's movements becoming strong enough for others to feel.

I can't believe I've almost reached the six month mark.
Things have been going great, no huge changes in my pregnancy this past week.

During my 22nd week I had a doctor appointment where we went over the anatomy scan from a few weeks back.
Everything looks good and Jacob Douglas appears to be healthy.

This past week little Jacob and I have been moving and grooving around Italy.
A close friend of mine is visiting and we've been out and about traveling to nearby cities.
I've been feeling great, and definitely taking advantage of it.

Time is starting to fly by, and I know I need to figure out what baby items we need soon!

What are some must-have items for the first few months with a new baby?

  1. LilyPadz Breastmilk Leakage Protection: http://www.target.com/p/lilypadz-reusable-nursing-pad/-/A-10737386#prodSlot=medium_1_1&term=lilypadz

Bag Balm for diaper rashes: http://www.theonlinedrugstore.com/Bag-Balm-Ointment-p/3593647.htm?Click=6348&vfsku=3593647&gpla=pla&gclid=CKb3o4ruqLoCFWZBQgod6X4Aqw

And a soothing musical "buddy" for naps and bedtime. This worked wonders for me and the girls still love it: http://www.target.com/p/fisher-price-ocean-wonders-soothe-and-glow-seahorse-blue/-/A-13318273#prodSlot=medium_1_1&term=seahorse+toy

    I wouldn't fail you! ;-)

  2. Just found your blog from your guest post on Kristyn's blog and it's so cute!! You're so pretty and your blog makes me wish I was back in Italy. I'm so excited to be a new follower! :)

  3. Congrats on your little boy!!!! We were also living in Europe (in the Netherlands) when I had my son and reading your 'about me' brought back memories!

I think my biggest must-have for the first few months were LOTS of burp cloths and little bibs in case your little one is a spitter. My guy was and he wore bibs during all waking hours so I didn't have to change his outfit constantly!
